All Good Wishes for 2009! A few of the "old" crowd will be back for a week from 11th July 2009 - so if you want any more info send me an email (address below).

NEWS: 11/02/2007 We have had a few hic-cups with our computer, so maybe at long last we will get a few more photos on to the gallery. If anyone has any photographs they would like to include then please contact me, if not through this site, then email cushendunreunion@hotmail.co.uk.

I know a few people are going back for a few days again this summer, possibly last week of July, first in August. If anyone is interested in meeting up, then please make contact.

Welcome to the Cushendun Reunion Website.

No mobile phone, no internet, black and white telly though, so we could watch Top of the Pops.

Swinging Sixties, Carnaby Street, The Beatles, Stones but for “our crowd” we had The Barn, barbecues at Salmon Port, the beach, the bridge, camels hump (did we really climb up there), then when we reached “18”, on to The Blueroom, Pat’s, The Bay and Glendun Hotels.

Cushendun, not quite London, late sixties early seventies, but did we have a good time?

What about friendships, could they be rekindled?

Did we have something special?

Well, judging by the Crowd who turned up on Saturday 5th August 2006, at Randals, we certainly must have!

Christine (Skivington), and myself decided to try and track down as many of our “Crowd” as possible, a bit of a challenge,

Sounded so simple and so far away!

What sort of response would we get?

Was 18 months too long or not long enough?

Maybe it would just be a couple of us meeting in Randals on the Saturday evening, but hey, what better way to spend a Saturday evening in August!

I really had the most fantastic time trying to track people down and especially with the huge response from you all. I was amazed how many people's paths had crossed, one way or another, over the years.

Kate (Leavey) Oliver (8th October 2006)
(I hope these photographs bring back fond memories. If you cen remember any of the unkown identites in these pictures, please don't hesitate to contact me.)
